I didn't think complaints over the movie length wand such was a biggy and not everybody is going to get ample screentime. I've read others that said the same thing. so if the acting is at least watchable, then I'm all for it. I'm totally excited about Broadbent.

^ Ok, that was just your opinion of course, but no, acting isn't everything, he said the story seemed inconsistent, he didn't like the humour factor, he thought quidditch was boring, he didn't even like Helena as Bellatrix, so obviously the reviewer's problem wasn't just the length of the movie.

The quidittch lasts only like 2 minutes according to other people who have seen it. And I can't take grumping about not enough Lupin seriously. So basically if the acting is on par, then I'm happy. Broadbent is getting major raves. That makes it worth watching on that alone.

Helena rocks as Bellatrix. I don't think she's in it much sadly. Like I said I'm looking at the overall story and acting. The acting doesn't even have to be perfect, I'm not a critic. But after seeing HBO's special I'm all excited about Slughorn.

Like I said I didn't consider it overly negative. I read this review right before that one and it had some of the same complaints about the length. Some about editting. But despite that it still got a B plus. This one just didn't mention much about performances.

No Jay is definitely there. So is her mother but Lainey didn't mention her either. They just may not have been there at that moment. It is NY, plenty to do and Jay does have friends in NY. He could of met up with them or took Emma's mom out. One thing that strikes me is that Jay felt like part of her family when you see pics. Especially ones with her dad and brother on both sides of him.

^ Kinda disagree with you on the family bit - it's obvious that Jay and Emma's family are on speaking terms but, from the pictures, they don't really look as if they are completely at ease with each other. It's my opinion but it appears that Emma's family just tolerate him because he's her boyfriend.

I know that Jay is in NY (jeez i posted the jay in NY pic a few comments above), i was just referring to that shopping sighting

i think that all this 'let's guess if emma's family is happy with jay based on their behavior at the premiere' a bit creppy. but i agree with @jphoenix17 when she says that he looked uncomfortable. i mean, did anyone see him smile? but it may have nothing to do with emma's family, perhaps he's not that used with so many screaming fans who have emma's name written in their bellies. he will be more prepared for the next premieres, i think.
