Can't agree at all with that but Jodie had done a range of different roles by the time she was Emma's age whereas Emma hasn't done anything to stretch whatever acting ability she may have.

That said, I saw HBP and was impressed with her performance this time, but maybe because it was such an improvement on her previous two performances.

I went with my sister to see HBP and the audience really responded well to Rupert and Emma's interplay so I think they did a good job of conveying the sexual tension between Ron and Hermione.

Being a brilliant actress/actor hasn't much to do with being a Hollywood star. It never has. It's more about public image - eg, being likeable, attractive, people aspiring to be like you...

Emma's done well to distance herself from Hermione and create an image for herself.

I don't think she actually created any distance from Hermione . Movie!Hermione is pretty and studies hard to get good grades, Emma is pretty and gets straigh A's and is going to college.

I can see Emma has being more funny and fun loving for sure but the IMAGE that is associated with movie!Hermione isn't much different from Emma, now if they actually did BUSHY!Book Hermione now that would be a very different story .

^ that's true. Also, just saying, popularity doesn't always mean a good thing, Lindsay Lohan is as much popular, but look at the difference between her & Emma.
imo those searches or hits mean nothing, it doesn't mean that her fame is rising, nor does it mean that it'll affect her career in any way. I don't see the point in saying, "oh she's most searched on this, or most searched on that". It's meaningless.

what are some of you guys getting at being a brillaint actress/actor has so!! much with being a hollywood star. being likeable don't get you a good role some producer may not take you seriouly anyway
being attractive and no acting skills brings you no money then a march to the playboy mansion
people aspiring to be like you is when you make big budget movies when a couple of oscars not those popular thing they give out and be nice and humble with your fans some fans cause other then to go over broad with there obession

We announced earlier this month that new photos of Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson would be used for Blag magazine's HMV's My Inspiration campaign (designed to advertise new Harry Potter film box set releases). Rupert's was released weeks ago; Dan's has now been published, and can be seen below

So... Emma will be in this magazine soon? Can't wait.

it's a good move because if she does not and HP ends soon, she'd be known as the HP girl and nothing else. At least people know she's emma now or a burberry model etc

I know this really isn't an interview, but I was glancing through Ok Weekly, [I know, it's the most reliable source in the WORLD], and it stated that Emma was a fan of the resort Gran Melia Palacio de Isora on the Spanish island Tenerife, in the Canaries.

I highly doubt it is true, but I still found it kind of interesting.

The place looks GORGEOUS though. I can see her staying there.

But yeah, its only a five hour flight from here and its where most brits go on their holidays (the canary islands) rupert goes there all the time. So its not completely unbelieveable.

tenerife belongs to Spain, and i think a lot of english go there besides barcelona

if you look at my posts you'll see i post a lot of news and i post articles when i find them i don't care if they are good or bad. go and look at the positive articles/interviews i posted during despereaux promotion and ask me why i posted those if i'm trying to convince the forum that emma's a bitch. i don't think emma's a bitch okay?

I remember going there when I was little, and it rained every day. It's only supposed to rain about five days a year and we got all of them.
